ZANU PF’S LIES AND FAILURES LEAVE ZIMBABWE IN CRISIS
ZANU PF, the ruling party of Zimbabwe, has been known for its many wrongdoings. They have been in power for many years, and during this time, they have committed many crimes. Their rule is not legal, and they have failed the people. Instead of working for the people, they take money and natural resources meant for the public. This is why many important services in the country do not work well. The party is focused on becoming the only party in the country, which is not good for the future. Their actions have kept the country in the same place, not moving forward, and left many people without jobs. Right now, unemployment in Zimbabwe is very high at nineteen percent.
ZANU PF is full of corruption. They steal from the country, and they do not care about the people. To make things worse, they use the government agency, ZIMSTAT, to spread lies. ZIMSTAT is supposed to give people real numbers, but it is being used to fool the public. ZANU PF tells ZIMSTAT to show false numbers about how many people are jobless. They want to make it look like fewer people are unemployed, but this is far from the truth. In reality, about seventy-four percent of people do not have jobs. This means most people in the country are struggling to find work, but ZANU PF wants them to believe things are better than they really are.
It makes one wonder why ZANU PF would want to lie to people who are suffering. For years, ZANU PF has been treating the people of Zimbabwe badly. They do not care about the pain and hardships of the people. Why would ZANU PF try to make unemployed people believe that life is better than it is? Why would they tell ZIMSTAT to give out numbers that are not true?
The answer could be that ZANU PF is afraid of failing. They know that many people do not have jobs, and this is because of their poor leadership. They are trying to hide the truth because they know it makes them look bad. But the truth cannot be hidden forever. If ZANU PF truly wanted the country to do well, they would not try to control everything. They would allow for a fair government system where everyone is equal, and the law is followed. But they do not want this, because they know they would not stay in power.
The sad truth is that ZANU PF is at the root of the unemployment problem in Zimbabwe. If they were to step down and let the opposition take over, things could change. Zimbabwe could start to grow again, and people could find jobs. There would be more respect for the law and for people’s rights. This is the opposite of what ZANU PF stands for. They have no respect for the constitution or for human rights.
Unfortunately, ZANU PF is more interested in staying in power forever, even though their idea of a one-party state is doomed to fail. Their corruption is making things worse, and as long as they remain in power, the country will continue to suffer. They do not believe in being open and honest. They do not believe in letting other leaders share power. This is why things are so bad in Zimbabwe.
In the end, people do not need lies about how many jobs there are. They need real jobs. If ZANU PF claims that unemployment is only at nineteen percent, then where do they expect to find young people for national service? This is a big question that the government needs to think about.
