I’m Victor Mhlaba, and Rebellious Victor is my space for talking about what matters in our country. I grew up in Bulawayo and went to Milton Primary and High School. Later, I worked in Harare at Favco, buying produce from commercial farmers before the land invasions changed everything.
While I’ve never been politically active—too risky in our environment—I’ve always been a social commentator. I’ve watched how the economy has shifted and how the people are affected, and I can’t stay quiet any longer. This blog is my way of speaking out, to challenge what’s wrong and bring attention to issues we can’t ignore.
Rebellious Victor isn’t about playing it safe. It’s about questioning, discussing, and thinking critically about the political and economic realities of Zimbabwe. This is my activism, and I hope you’ll join me in the conversation.
